Just a few things about the open mic night:
  • If you signed up, but don't want to do it on the night of the open mic night, don't worry. We're not forcing you to do it.
  • If you are concerned about users recording you, we have a strict no-recording policy for those who don't want their performance to be recorded.
  • If we find users making fun of users who performed on open night, it is considered disrespect of a user, and will result in punishments occurring.
You can find dates for the open mic night in a separate sticky post on this forum.


DISCLAIMER ABOUT POSTING PERFORMANCES ONLINE: When we record and post your performance online, that performance is stored within our web servers, in Houston, Texas, located within the United States. All applicable law applies with data storage. If you don't want your performance stored on our web servers, please contact us, and we will reply in 1-7 days removing the file, after confirming the identity of the one who is contacted. A backup of the performance however may be stored offline for 60 days after the file is removed online. After 60 days, the offline file will be removed. If we find that an impostor has told us to take down the file, and we believed the impostor, the file will be put back online, if we find out within 60 days of when the file was removed. Your performance will be stored online forever, until our network is shut down, and so will be our web server. Even if such occurs, an offline backup will be stored with your performance in it.

While we are on the protocol hack for 1.10.1, 1.10.2 fixes lots of those dumb crash errors. It's HIGHLY recommended to use 1.10.2 on the server.
