In order to make way for the upcoming 1.9 changes, we're leaving open a test server for about 2-3 weeks, in which we'll allow player access on the server, to make sure things aren't glitchy, and everything works.

That said, bugs will be found. To report any bug, just tell us the bug, and maybe get some screenshots of the bug in action. We'll then compile the list of bugs with what plugins they correspond to, and we'll go from there.

KNOWN BUGS:
-Inventories not carrying over
-MOTD getting completely bugged out (double spaced)
-PvP somehow not enabled, but PvE is?

Please send in all the bug reports you can send in, as it helps a ton.

For information on the server, and how to become a 1.9 Volunteer, ask o355 in-game about details of the test server. If you send in more then 3-5 bugs during the testing period, you'll receive a special prefix. The test server will likely stay open until somewhere around late March.

To keep the SurvivalCraft-MC Network, and our TS3 server, great places to play, and talk on, we need to enforce a strict set of rules.
For staff, it’s recommended you keep a physical copy of the rules near your computer at any time, to be more efficient with punishing players, instead of having to look at the rules on the website. If you do go with the printed method, be sure to frequently update your printed copies.
Updated on 1/24/2016.

TS3 Server Rules
Please note, a security level of 23 is required to join the server. You can increase your security level to 23 by in the top bar, going to Settings, Identities, and on the profile that shows, clicking “Improve” next to the Security Level, and set the requested Security Level to 23. Getting a security level of 23 may take a few seconds, and up to a minute on older systems.
Please note, our TS3 server has a PG rating. This means that very light swear words are allowed generally, however, different ratings apply in different channels. If there is a different rating in a different channel, the description will tell you the rating for that channel.
  • Spamming the chat in TS3 – 20 minute ban 1st time, 40 minute ban 2nd+ time
  • Playing unnecessary noises through your mic (static, etc.) – 2 hour ban 1st time, 5 hour ban 2nd time, 12 hour ban 3rd+ time
  • Excessively swearing in channels – 2 day ban 1st time, 6 day ban 2nd time, 14 day ban 3rd+ time
  • Excessively begging for talk power in channels/spamming talk power requests – 2 hour ban 1st time, 4 hour ban 2nd+ time
  • Advertising through chat – 7 day ban 1st time, 14 day ban 2nd time, 28 day ban 3rd+ time
  • Advertising through your mic – 20 day ban 1st time, 40 day ban 2nd time, perm ban 3rd time
  • Abusive behavior through the chat – 14 day ban 1st time, perm ban 2nd time
  • Abusive behavior through your mic – perm ban/IP ban 1st time
  • Sexual abuse/assault/violence through chat/mic – perm ban/IP ban 1st time, contact of police as well.
  • Child sexual abuse/assault/violence through chat/mic – perm ban/IP ban 1st time, contact of police as well.

Please note, for anything regarding sexual abuse, assault, or violence, I take that stuff very seriously. Upon someone contacting me of someone being sexually abused, assaulted, or violated, I will immediately trace down the user IP, and also contact police dependent on the area located in. This is not a light manor, and I’m quite serious about this.
  • Hack threats through mic/chat – 14 day ban 1st time, Perm ban 2nd time
  • DDoS threats through mic/chat – Perm ban/IP ban 1st time

Ban Evasions in TS3:
Ban evasions are of course a huge factor when it comes to a TS3 server. We do set our security level at 23, but that doesn’t mean someone can come on and evade the ban, as it’s much easier to do so. If we do find a user ban evading, the IP will be banned, with the users banned every time. If it gets bad enough, I’ll pinpoint a range of IPs being used, and block them through my network. IP bans are issued through my router, and never go away. Trust me on that one. However, if ban evading gets quite severe for a user, I will temporary lock down the server.
Server updates for the TS3 server:
At times, I will need to unexpectedly restart the TS3 server to make sure that everything is up to date when it comes to OS updates. These updates will usually occur every weekend, and will usually last for about 10-20 minutes, but may occur for longer depending on how many updates need to be applied, and how large they are. We hope this doesn’t inconvenience anyone.
Reporting incidents on the TS3 server:
Please go to survivalcraftmc.net/report to report the incidents.

Just a few notices about punishments,
  • We will never punish without a vaild reason.
  • The maximum temporary mute time is 7 days, before switching to a permanent mute.
  • The maximum temporary ban time is 3 months, before switching to a permanent ban.
  • Staff can get punished if they are caught making people moderator without founder permission, crashing the server, abusing, etc.

Please note, when we mention contacting the police, we will cooperate with Cold Spring, NY Police, Putnam County Police, and NYS Police. We may also cooperate with police in the area in which an IP lookup has been warranted in. Along with this, we may also cooperate with our hosting provider, McProHosting.

Staff Inactivity Demotion Times
From the moment a staff member logs off, a clock will start, with how long the staff member can be inactive (not on the server) before a staff member gets demoted. The staff inactivity demotion times are listed below:
  • Trial-Moderator: 30 days of inactivity
  • Moderator: 45 days of inactivity
  • Administrator: 60 days of inactivity
  • Senior Administrator: 90 days of inactivity
  • Owner: 180 days of inactivity
  • Senior Owner: Endless inactivity
  • Founder: Endless inactivity

If a staff member expects to go inactive for longer then the demotion times listed, they may contact o355 before their inactivity. Listed below is how long a staff member can be gone on scheduled inactivity. If the times below are too short, o355 will be open to letting the inactivity extend longer, with a detailed response.
  • Trial-Moderator: up to 90 days of scheduled inactivity
  • Moderator: up to 150 days of scheduled inactivity
  • Administrator: up to 180 days of scheduled inactivity
  • Senior Administrator: up to 240 days of scheduled inactivity
  • Owner: up to 300 days of scheduled inactivity
  • Senior Owner: up to 1 year of scheduled inactivity

If you have found a staff member abusing punish privileges, abusing privileges, or anything else that may danger the staff member and players of the network, please contact o355, at o355@survivalcraftmc.net
If you have an idea for the rule book, please email o355, at o355@survivalcraftmc.net, and we might just implement your rule into the rule books!

  1. Staff abuse threads are not to be joked around with. We take all staff abuse complaints very seriously, and each investigation takes a lot of time to investigate. If we find you joking about staff abuse threads, we will permanently ban you from the reports center, and if evading occurs, an IP ban will be issued.
  2. Replying to threads isn't necessary, and just annoying. Unless you have extra evidence for that report, please, don't post in report threads. If this is done too much, temporary bans will be issued.
  3. Profanity, sexual references, and harassment are strictly prohibited here. This can be punished from anywhere from a temporary ban to a Permanent/IP ban.
  4. Please follow the report formats for when you make a report. Yes, it's annoying, but it makes the report staff's lives a lot easier.
  5. If there is at all any ban evading, a permanent IP ban will be issued.
Please also note, that if you have an unconfirmed account, please let a moderator know, so we can activate your account.

Thanks for following the rules,
